Guelph Symphony Orchestra Dreams of Vienna

Guelph Symphony Orchestra logo

Presented by Guelph Symphony Orchestra:

Bring in 2018 with your favourite Viennese classics by Strauss and Lehar, and arias from Strauss’s Die Fledermaus and Puccini’s Tosca. Our New Year’s guest is the multi-talented Soprano Ambur Braid – she has not only been featured by the Canadian Opera Company but has opened for superstar Tony Bennett. One of the most exciting new artists of her generation, Toronto Star described Ms. Braid as having “deliver[ed] the trifecta of crystalline high notes, blissfully graceful vocal cadenzas and deep emotional intensity”.
