Award-winning children’s entertainers perform at River Run Centre November 8

GUELPH, ON October 26, 2015 – With a brand new full-length album and new season of their popular Treehouse TV program set to air, big things are happening for Canadian children’s entertainers Splash ’N Boots. The duo brings their high-energy musical show to River Run Centre’s Main Stage on Sunday, November 8, at 2 p.m. The performance is presented as part of the Guelph Mercury Family Series presented by River Run Centre.

It was a busy summer 2015 for Splash ‘N Boots, also known as Nick Adams and Taes Leavitt. The pair toured the nation, filmed Season 2 of their Treehouse TV program, Big Yellow Boot, and performed at Treehouse TV’s Big Day Out at the Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto. Their new album, Songs From the Boot, is being released to coincide with the new season of Big Yellow Boot, which premieres on Treehouse TV in October.

Splash ‘N Boots have performed more than 1,200 shows across Canada, the U.S. and around the world during the past six and a half years. Along the way, they have become internationally recognized children’s entertainers, performing sold-out shows in countries including Australia, Italy, Bermuda and Dubai. “Their program is simple, fun and innocent,” The Kingston Whig Standard wrote in a review of Splash ‘N Boots. “Reminiscent of Sharon, Lois and Bram and Mr. Dressup.”

Besides touring extensively, Splash ‘N Boots have also released seven award-winning CDs, 18 music videos and two full-length DVDs. The pair has two Juno Award nominations for Children’s Album of the Year and was three times crowned Canadian Children’s Music Group of the Year at the Sirius XM Independent Music Awards. A favourite of pint-sized entertainment connoisseurs and their parents alike, Splash ‘N Boots promises to have the entire family dancing, singing and laughing.
