Comedians Ivan Decker, Graham Chittenden, Jon Reep and Gina Brillon perform Saturday, April 9

GUELPH, ON March 23, 2016 – Expect a healthy dose of comic relief when the 2016 Just for Laughs Road Show rolls into Guelph on Saturday, April 9, at 8 p.m. The River Run Centre Main Stage performance featuring comedians Ivan Decker, Graham Chittenden, Jon Reep and Gina Brillon is presented as part of the centre’s Comedy Series.

One of Canada’s leading young comedians, Decker will serve as the evening’s host. A rising star on the stand-up comedy circuit, he has performed from coast to coast and made numerous television and radio appearances. Decker is a repeat performer at Montreal’s prestigious Just For Laughs festival and has been featured at the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Just for Laughs Bermuda and on the popular CBC Radio program The Debaters.

Chittenden’s impressive comedy resume continues to grow. As well as performing at the Montreal Just For Laughs festival, he has been a featured performer on the Just For Laughs Canadian Comedy Tour and at Just for Laughs Bermuda. Chittenden’s credits also include appearing on The Comedy Network television show Match Game, CBC Radio’s The Debaters, as well as writing for the CBC Television programs Mr. D and Still Standing.

Winner of the NBC television contest Last Comic Standing, Reep has become a blue-collar comedy favourite. His credits include appearances on the hit ABC television sitcom Blackish, HBO’s Eastbound and Down and Comedy Central’s Premium Blend. Reep has also been featured in his own Comedy Central Presents special and appeared in the 2008 film Harold and Kumar: Escape from Guantanamo Bay.

Familiar to comedy fans, Brillon’s credits include appearances on The View and Late Night with Seth Meyers. The first and only Latina winner of NBC’s Stand Up for Diversity Showcase, Brillon released her first one-hour special, Pacifically Speaking, in 2014. Her credits also include appearances on Chelsea Lately and Gotham Comedy Live, as well as in the feature film The Fluffy Movie.

In its 13th year touring Ontario, the annual Just For Laughs Road Show features outstanding stand-up comedians from the world-renowned Montreal Just For Laughs festival. A comedy tradition for more than three decades, Just For Laughs Montreal welcomes two million visitors each summer.
