Presale and Promo Codes

Presale and promo codes allow control over:

  • Specific price codes (ex. Adult and Senior but not Student);
  • Specific seat groups (ex. VIP seating only);
  • Pricing, either with a final price for each price code or a percentage discount off of the full price;
  • Date and time range of availability;
  • Maximum number of tickets available for that promotion;
  • Minimum and maximum # tix purchasable in one transaction.

Presale codes are used to offer patrons early access to tickets. We are able to set up a presale code without a ticket price discount.

To create a presale or promo code, we need:

  • Code name (one word/no spaces, shorter, clear Ex. SHAKEIT);
  • Final price (including taxes, box office services fees, and CRF, if applicable) OR percentage discount;
  • Date range for use;
  • The cap on the number of tickets to be sold, if applicable.

Orchestra Lift

Orchestra lift section of Main Stage seating plan

Orchestra pit seating plan rows AA to CC

Select one of the following levels:
Audience: Allows for more seating (rows AA-CC, 60 seats). Standard position.
Orchestra: Below seating level to accommodate a pit orchestra or similar. Additional costs apply to lower lift to orchestra level.

For some performances, it is possible to raise the lift to Stage height for additional staging. However, this has implications for lighting and audio and must be approved by the Supervisor, Technical Services. Additional costs apply to raise the lift to stage level.

Orchestra lift seats can remain at audience level but be closed from sale. Contact the Box Office Coordinator for more information.

Access 2 Entertainment & CNIB

A brief explanation of Access 2 Entertainment (Access 2) from their website: “Participating venues grant one free admission for the support person while the person with the disability pays the regular admission fee. This helps ensure all individuals receive the support they need to participate fully in entertainment, recreational and cultural opportunities.” Visit the Access 2 website for more details.

The CNIB card program works similarly to Access 2 – the card-holder pays for their ticket, and the sighted guide receives a complimentary ticket. Visit the CNIB card webpage for more info.

River Run Centre accepts Access 2 Entertainment and CNIB cards. Indicate whether you would like to honour these programs for your event(s) as well.
