River Run announces change to Veterans of SNL lineup

Guelph ON January 6, 2015 – Due to movie and television scheduling conflicts the lineup for the upcoming Veterans of SNL show has changed.  River Run is delighted to announce that legendary comedian Jon Lovitz will join Rob Schneider for the tour’s Guelph performance on Sunday, February 15 at 7 p.m.

This dynamite duo has a wealth of comedic experience– ranging from the small screen to the big screen and countless stages in between.

Jon Lovitz ‘s characters have had audiences rolling in the aisles for years with beloved SNL characters Annoying Man, Master Thespian, Tonto, Mephistopheles, Harvey Fierstein, and Michael Dukakis, and of course, Hanukkah Harry. Known for his distinctive voice and breadth of talent, Jon has enjoyed a successful acting and stand up career that has earned him accolades from around the world.

Rob Schneider began writing jokes as a teenager, appearing at local comedy venues. After opening for comedians such as Jay Leno and Jerry Seinfeld, he made his major network television debut in 1987 on “The David Letterman Show.” In 1990, Schneider became a regular on “Saturday Night Live.” During his four seasons at “SNL,” Schneider was nominated for three Emmys and a Peabody Award.

Tickets for this performance start at $54 for adults, and $52 for students and seniors. $5 eyeGO tickets are available for high school students with valid ID. $20 uGO tickets are available to university and college students with valid ID.
