Presented By Andrew Craig Production and Paul Shaw:
Andrew Craig’s Gospel Christmas Project – the most rousing, inspiring, and uplifting concert of the Holiday season – returns to Guelph’s River Run Centre for the fourth time – and farewell show!
Originally created in 2006 as a CBC Radio and TV special (which received a Gemini nomination), the Gospel Christmas Project has been performed across Southern Ontario, including at Toronto’s legendary Massey Hall, and twice with the National Arts Centre Orchestra in Ottawa.
The Gospel Christmas Project takes the world’s most-loved Christmas carols, and performs them in the electrifying style of contemporary Gospel. For this final concert, Andrew brings together the cast that started it all: Jackie Richardson (Canada’s Queen of Jazz and Blues), Kellylee Evans (2011 Juno award Female Jazz Vocalist of the Year), Toya Alexis (former Canadian Idol finalist), powerhouse vocalist Alana Bridgewater, and dazzling Gospel vocalist Chris Lowe. Add to that mix Grammy-nominated Sharon Riley and Faith Chorale, and the top-notch band, all under Andrew’s direction, and you have the perfect recipe for an unforgettable night of music and celebration.
Reviewer Carol Lipson of the Live Music Report called the show “a surge of joy”. Patrons throughout the area have made this show an annual family tradition. Come see and hear why! Don’t miss your last chance to experience the power and the inspiration of the Gospel Christmas Project – a show for everyone, young and old, of all faiths and beliefs.
Everyone must have a ticket to enter, including children and infants. Place your order by phone to include an infant ticket.
