Presented By Guelph Chamber Choir:
This concert is a “farewell concert” for conductor Gerald Neufeld who will be ending his engagement with the GCC which included all but two of the choir’s 37 years. The GCC was the first choir in Canada to perform this work with a period orchestra some years ago. It will again engage a period orchestra skilled in performing on orchestral instruments of the classical period, instruments that blend and balance much more easily with the choral forces in Brahms’ Requiem than do modern orchestral instruments.
Everyone must have a ticket, including children. Infants will not be admitted during this event.
No refunds offered for this event. Tickets may be exchanged for other Guelph Chamber Choir shows in the 2017-18 series.
