    Presented by River Run Centre:

    EXPERIENCE SOMETHING NEW.
    ADMISSION FREE

    Saturday, September 26 @ 3:00 PM

Join us for the grand finale of River Run’s artist in residence program.

    What can you expect?

Imagine wandering through a series of mini performances, installations, improvisations and interactive experiences created by River Run’s artists in residence with up to 50 members from various community groups. You’ll be walking or standing, more than you’ll be sitting. The pathway will take you through the entire building to intriguing behind-the scenes spots.

    A sneak peak

Get cozy up on The Bridge to view Arms Reach, an amazing micro tile installation by media artist Jenn E Norton. Also, see what she’s done with mirrors in a new, interactive installation that offers the public a simultaneously micro/macro perspective.

Musician Amadeo Ventura will be playing across time and space – complete with team spirit and Samba parade .

What about those typewriters? See what Claire Tacon our writer in residence does with her love of words through projection, post cards and more in the Canada Company Hall.

Ishra Blanco and belly dancers from Invoketress transform the Canada Company Hall – top to bottom – with colour and movement in a River of Veils.

Check out Bry Webb’s multi-guitar installation in the Co-operators Hall. You’ll get to make music…but in a completely different way. The floor as a sound box is your cue.

Megan O’Donnell creates a bird’s eye view that allows the public to regard the mover, writer and musician of this piece in a wholly unique way. This forced perspective is an extension of the narrative: three art forms reflecting upon themselves, only this time, from above.

The Whole Shebang Guelph’s Artistic Instigator, Andrea Nann of Dreamwalker Dance Company and guest collaborators Janet Morton, Katie Ewald, Elysha Poirier, Gabriel Cropley and Brendan Wyatt create interactive environments to heighten the experience, connecting individuals to a greater whole.

Advance viewings of Arms Reach by Jenn E. Norton are available

    September 10 to 26
    Monday to Saturday, 11 a.m to 6 p.m.
