B-The Underwater Bubble Show: A modern-day fairy tale

GUELPH, ON December 19, 2017 – Take a break from the everyday and journey to the magical underwater world of Bubblelandia during a performance of B – The Underwater Bubble Show at River Run Centre on Saturday, January 6, at 7 p.m. The Main Stage performance is presented as part of the Miijidaa Family Series.

Blending drama, mime, dance, puppetry, juggling, contortion and magic, B – The Underwater Bubble Show is a modern-day fairy tale that brings fantasy to colourful reality.

After a long day filled with countless things to do – meetings, deadlines and distractions – Mr. B finds himself transported to a magical land where seahorses, starfish, mermaids and clownfish lead him on an unforgettable adventure. Millions of bubbles of all shapes and colours, foam waves and other surprises help take him on a fantastic imaginary journey.

Produced by Brinum-X, a Latvian entertainment company with 20 years’ experience in more than 32 countries, B – The Underwater Bubble Show is rich with stage effects and optical illusions. The show is directed by Italian theatre director, actor and bubble artist Enrico Pezzoli, and was produced with the assistance of some of Latvia’s brightest entertainment and theatre stars. B – The Underwater Bubble Show features original music by Valdis Zilvers, Latvia’s most famed theatre composer.

With references to classic tales including Pinocchio, Beauty and the Beast and Peter Pan, B – The Underwater Bubble Show offers an entertaining escape for audience members of all ages. It’s a performance that will surely leave you feeling light, free and happy.

Tickets to see B – The Underwater Bubble Show cost $36 for adults, $34 for seniors and students, and $20 for children 14 and under. $20 uGO tickets are available to university and college students with valid ID. $5 eyeGO tickets are available to high school students with valid ID.
