Presenting Paratopias ON THE STAGE by Pratibha Arts.
Combining Kathak (dance) and Tabla (drum) rhythms, Bharatha Natyam (dance), original music and video design, Paratopias celebrates the inspiring possibilities of an inclusive and diverse world. Tradition meets contemporary expression with exquisite dancing, live music, and visuals for this riveting performance.
Choreographed and performed by Bageshree Vaze alongside a team of masterful musicians and dancers, Paratopias pays homage to the St. John’s Hindu Temple in which Vaze discovered Indian dance.

Sometimes during a phrase Vaze would bring her arms into a formal arc, and then, a beat later, turn her head and eyes to resolve the position and bring it into focus.
