GSO presents a semi-staged production of this much-loved opera, featuring an all-Canadian cast of Soprano Lida Szkwarek, Mezzo-soprano Pascale Spinney, and Soprano Cheryl Hickman, the orchestral debut of the GSOKids and GSOBridge Children’s Chorus, and featuring sets designed by Guelph Young Artists. This performance is staged by one of the most celebrated Gretels of her generation, director Linda Kitchen.
