GUELPH, ON January 7, 2026 — Michael Harrison is a talented ventriloquist, comedian, and master showman combining his many talents in this laugh-out-loud, one-man tour de force. As Disney exclaims, this is “a five star show for all ages! Family audiences love him!” Part of the Wooly Family Series, catch Ventastic – Reimagining the Art of Ventriloquism on River Run Centre’s Main Stage on Thursday, January 22 at 6 p.m.
Harrison is one of the most booked comedy ventriloquists in the world, with over 3,500 performances in more than 40 countries. He rose to international fame in 2008 on America’s Got Talent, singing Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” while alternating voices with a snake puppet. His performances also audience members as human puppets, resulting in laugh-out-loud comedy in every show.
As a professional, full-time touring performer, Harrison has perfected his craft over his three decades as a showman. For more than 20 years, he worked for Disney, including being featured as the headlining act on their Cruise Line. He also headlined on other luxurious cruises, at resorts like Sandals, Atlantis, and more. In addition to touring on the water, he has performed corporate comedy gigs for global players such as Coca-Cola and RE/MAX among others.
Harrison turns ventriloquism upside-down with his original puppets and creative routines. His shows go beyond entertainment, incorporating inspiring messages to his fans. He ignites a spark in his audiences, encouraging them to chase their creative passions, no matter how unconventional they may be.
