Learn from two of the top a cappella performers in Canada! You, too, can be part of a vocal band – no instruments required. Internationally renowned composer, arranger, and performer Aaron Jensen will show you how to make instrument sounds from guitar to trombone just using your mouth and body. Countermeasure’s acclaimed Vocal Percussionist, J-M Erlendson, takes you through all of the drum sounds – with not a drumstick in sight. Workshop suitable for all ages and skill levels.

Led by award-winning composer and arranger Aaron Jensen, Countermeasure’s dramatically choreographed show has entertained audiences across Canada and around the world, including at Edinburgh’s Festival Fringe, Italy’s renowned Vocalmente Festival and the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
The group has recorded with GRAMMY and JUNO award-winning artists including Randy Brecker, Ron Sexsmith, Alan Doyle, and The Barenaked Ladies; and has performed alongside the likes of Corey Hart, Alan Frew, The Swingle Singers, and Naturally 7.
They won multiple awards from The Contemporary A Cappella Society of America. The members of Countermeasure incorporate innovative live looping, instrument imitation, vocal percussion and flawless harmonies to create an array of unique and memorable sounds.
