Three years in the making, Guelph’s own Invoketress Dance presents a visually stunning and boldly expressive belly dance fusion production—an act of remembering. Through movement, we piece together what has been forgotten and erased, reclaim autonomy over our bodies, and honour the wisdom carried within the feminine. This is a story of remembrance, resilience, and renewal. It is time to bring our stories out of the shadows and into the light so that together we may heal through connection, support, and love. Together, we thrive.

Invoketress Dance is an award-winning dance troupe committed to high-calibre dance and to recognizing the divine in each other, which allows them to continually learn and evolve together. A flourishing sisterhood where strengths are amplified, and differences celebrated.
As the Artistic Director of Invoketress, Ishra has 30 years of teaching, performing, and producing experience. Her recent accolades include being a principal dancer with the acclaimed She Rose Production, touring as a Priestess Dancer with Sedona Swan Soulfire and international singer Mary Stark, performing in a dozen concerts across the U.S. and Canada.
