GUELPH, ON December 18, 2025 — Join the original voice actors of Steven Spielberg’s iconic Animaniacs for a fun-filled evening with world-famous songs from the 90s cartoon. As its creators say, “this charmingly campy show is for nostalgic adults, and kids will love it, too.” Catch Animaniacs: In Concert on River Run Centre’s Main Stage on Sunday, January 18, at 7 p.m.
Animaniacs remains as beloved today as it was when the Warner Bros. series debuted in the early 90s, appealing to fans of all ages. With the launch of its 2020 revival series starring the original voice actors, Animaniacs continues to be a multi-generational favourite with universally recognized Emmy-winning hit songs.
This live concert format stars Animaniacs’ original Emmy Award-winning voice acting legend, Rob Paulsen, Ontario’s own Maurice Lamarche, and Emmy-winning composer Randy Rogel on piano. With Paulsen and LaMarche on the same stage, fans of Pinky and The Brain are in for a treat. Together, the trio performs familiar songs from the series with some behind-the-scenes commentary sprinkled in. The concert also features familiar clips of the original cartoons projected on a big screen, just how it all began.
Animaniacs became known for its variety show format featuring musical numbers, satire, and breaking the fourth wall. Audiences can expect a similar experience from this performance. The jokes may be scripted, but the three stars are silly and spontaneous, exuding a cartoon-like quality even in real life.
