She leads the Tania Gill Quartet with Lina Allemano (trumpet), Nico Dann (drums), and Rob Clutton (bass) and will be releasing a new album in the coming months. Her last record, Bolger Station, was nominated for best debut album in the Village Voice Jazz Critics’ Poll, and was Disc of the Week in the The Globe and Mail. Tania currently also plays with The Brodie West Quintet, The Titillators, Rebecca Hennessy’s Quintet, FOG Brass Band, and The Woodshed Orchestra.
